The Underwater world is the latest addition to the Steampunk Idle Spinner series. Initially developed during a 3-day gamejam in June 2017, the game's concept gained popularity among players leading to continuous development. The evolution of the game is showcased through screencasts published as time-lapse videos. Some development phases are shared with players as live videos with their suggestions often integrated online.

Based on player feedback from the game's Facebook group, the Underwater world emerged as the most requested environment. Introducing several unique elements to the series:
